First of Clooneen, Co. Mayo and after of Muckiniss, Co. Clare (Blake of Towerhill, County Mayo). In the Civil War in Ireland, 1689-1691, held commission as Captain in Colonel Dominick Browne's regiment of infantry in King James's Irish army, and was killed in action at the siege of Athlone in June, 1691.
